In 2018 she wrote the introduction for a collaborative study paper on the improvement of braille accessibility in Canadian public libraries:
Moving into the field of sensitivity/authenticity reading in 2020, she consulted on a children’s picture book with Toronto publisher Kids Can Press:

She has been a consultant of lived experience, connecting with authors through publishers such as Kids Can Press, Salt and Sage Books, for children’s literature and picture books, YA fiction, fantasy, and historical romance.
She’s also done consulting on other assorted accessibility themes for presentations and in an inclusive design class at OCAD University and with students in an interior design class at Toronto Metropolitan University.
From there, she moved into the growing area of image description and audio description for performances, television and film, to become a writer and/or quality control consultant.
She has taken AD courses with Joel Snyder of

Kerry has written song lyrics and has produced and hosted several audio projects and sound scapes with her younger brother, (an audio engineer who is also blind).
